NEW YORK: ECUADOR CONSIDERS THE AUDIO-VISUAL INDUSTRY A DRIVER FOR INVESTMENT

September 19^th, 2022: TAP sponsored an event for President Guillermo Lasso in New York. TAP expressed support for President Lasso’s bill, which designates the audiovisual industry as a priority sector for the country’s development. If Congress approves the legislation, it will become one of the best production incentive programs in all of Latin America.

TAP also took the opportunity to share concern with content piracy in Ecuador, which presents a serious obstacle to foreign investment.
