MIAMI: COLOMBIAN PRESIDENT DUQUE HIGHLIGHTS ACHIEVEMENTS IN AUDIOVISUAL SECTOR

July 22nd, 2022: President Iván Duque participated in an event in Miami organized by the U.S.-Colombia Chamber of Commerce. TAP Chairman attended and thanked the outgoing President for establishing a highly successful audiovisual incentives framework in the country, which has attracted foreign investment and helped bolster Colombia’s national industry. President Duque was a champion of the creative sector and his administration was responsible for creating the “Orange Economy” framework, which include tax credits for productions and other fiscal benefits to draw in capital and develop talent locally.
