NEW YORK: GUSTAVO PUPO-MAYO MEETS WITH THE PRESIDENT OF URUGUAY, LUIS LACALLE POU

New York, June 21, 2023. On Tuesday June 13, the Chairman of TAP, Gustavo Pupo-Mayo, met with the President of Uruguay, Luis Lacalle Pou, and with the Minister of Industry of Uruguay, Omar Paganini, in the framework of AS/COA meetings.

The meetings focused on the expansion of incentives for audiovisual production, such as the development of a Cinematographic Free Zone located in Punta del Este. TAP supports the implementation of this type of programs to attract new audiovisual investments to the region.
