TAP Chairman Gustavo Pupo-Mayo and Dominican Republic President Luis Abinader
New York, September 26th. TAP Chairman met with Dominican Republic’s President Luis Abinader during a private dinner hosted by AS/COA on the margins of the United Nations General Assembly.
TAP credited the country’s audiovisual production incentives for making the country an important production hub. These incentives have helped fund more than 800 films and television productions in recent years resulting in the creation of more than 25,000 direct and indirect jobs.
President Abinader’s focus is introducing a Tax Reform to improve the country’s economic indicators. Priority factors for this goal creating a stable environment for investors with judicial security and respect for the Rule of Law.
