WASHINGTON D.C.: TAP MEETS WITH NEW COLOMBIAN AMBASSADOR TO THE U.S.


 TAP Colombia counsel Carolina Peña and Colombian Ambassador to the U.S. Daniel García-Peña Jaramillo. 


Washington, D.C., August 1st. TAP’s Colombia counsel Carolina Peña met with the newly appointed Colombian Ambassador to the U.S., Daniel García-Peña, during a TAP-sponsored dinner hosted by AS/COA.


The Ambassador reaffirmed his commitment to the over 200-year-old U.S.-Colombia bilateral relationship.


Ambassador García-Peña Jaramillo is a university professor, historian, journalist and politician. He served as High Commissioner for Peace in the government of Ernesto Samper. Previously, he was director of the NGO Planeta Paz and professor in the Department of Political Science at the National University of Colombia.
