Brasilia, November 13th. TAP co-sponsored the Internet Summit hosted by the Alliance for Open Internet (AIA). AIA is an organization formed by associations and companies of all sizes and multiple sectors that defends the right to a free and neutral internet in Brazil.
The Summit was attended by global industry leaders, policymakers, technologists, and advocates to discuss the present and future of digital infrastructure. The forum was an opportunity for diverse business segments and government officials to discuss the importance of net neutrality and collaboration among players.
Attendees from the government included ANATEL President Carlos Baigorri, Secretary of Competition and Regulatory Policy Andrea Macera, and Coordinator for Communication in the Treasury Ministry Mariana Piccoli.
