Washington, D.C., Monday, February 3rd. TAP Government Relations Director Vanessa Perez and Colombia counsel Carolina Peña met with Colombia’s Ambassador to the U.S. Daniel Garcia Peña during the U.S. Colombia Business Council (USCBC) event, 2025 Colombia's Political and Economic Outlook.
The Ambassador highlighted the importance of maintaining strong diplomatic channels in order to sustain a productive bilateral relationship with the U.S.
The event also featured presentations by key Colombian officials including Senator Clara Lopez and Bogotá council member Juan Daniel Oviedo, as well as Cynthia Arnson, Distinguished Fellow at the Woodrow Wilson Center; Ana Maiguashca, Head of Bogotá’s Private Council for Competitiveness; and Paola Buendia, Executive Vice President of the National Association of Entrepreneurs of Colombia ANDI.
